Meet Head Coach Mike Cole

Mike Cole took over the reins of Lincoln Patriots' basketball in 2000. At that time, Lincoln had lost a lot of prestige in the Capital Conference and had not been among the best in the area for some time. Since then, Cole has lead the Pats to a record of 75-51, including two 2nd place finishes in the Capital. This year, Cole hopes to bring Lincoln its first conference championship since 1986.

Meet Assistant Coach Marty Groom

Marty Groom came to Lincoln in 2000 with Coach Cole. Prior to that, he was the head coach of the girls basketball team at Hillville High. Groom and Cole played high school ball together at Jefferson, with Groom graduating a year later in 1986. They have remained close friends since and Marty jumped at the chance to work with Mike.
