The Lincoln Patriots Boys Varsity Basketball team has played nine games so far, and their high-powered offense is largely responsible for their fast 8-1 (6-0 Capital Conference) start. Sorroto Inching Closer to DePaul's Record
With 9 assists in Monday night's game, Jim Sorroto now has 703 over his four years at Lincoln. He now only needs 19 more to become Lincoln's all-time leader in assists and pass Jeff DePaul. In order to accumulate 19 more before the end of the regular season, Jim will need to average about 1.5 assists per game. This shouldn't be too hard considering he has averaged 10.2 a game this season! Good luck Jim, we're all rooting for you!

Lincoln on Top of Capital

Lincoln remains on top of the Capital, as they are the only team left without a conference loss. They will take on Washington Friday night in a battle for first place. Clinton is a very close third at 5-1 and is expected to give both Lincoln and Washington a run for their money. All three teams play each other over the next seven days, which should say a lot. Coach Cole noted, "The next week is probably the most important stretch of the season. It will tell us where we stand in the conference."
